Our Mission:
The Flying Point Foundation for Autism, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to creating and supporting programs and services that enrich the lives of children with autism.

Recognizing the limited opportunities for organized activities geared toward children with autism, the Foundation’s main focus is to provide programs that meet this need on the East End. Through our efforts, we will also raise public awareness and understanding of autism, especially among the peers of children who have been diagnosed with the disorder.

iPads at camp!
The Flying Point Foundation is pleased to announce that we are the recipient of a grant to purchase iPads for use in our camp and respite programs! As you may already know, iPads are an incredible device, especially for those with autism. Additionally, two children who attend our programs will be eligible to get an iPad for use in their daily lives.
Big news...
If you are interested in applying for an iPad for your child,
please email  kim@fpf4autism.org and an application will be sent to you once we’ve finalized it.
Founded in 2008, the Flying Point Foundation for Autism has created a summer camp for children with autism into an annual program. Last summer, thanks to financial support from businesses, individuals and charitable groups, Camp Flying Point was a huge success with 50 campers, a 20 percent increase in enrollment from the previous year. And we are still growing and adding new programs. That's where you come in.

Our energy for continuing this work is strong, we need people like you to help us reach the next step in enriching the lives of children with autism. That is why we are creating a volunteer member opportunity. What is a volunteer member? It's simple. We would like to be able to call on you to help out at one or more of our fundraising events throughout the year or give your time to one of our programs. Plus we'd really like it if you'd tell your friends about us. You can give as much or as little time as you want or are able.

As a volunteer member, you can sign up for a specific fundraising event or as a general volunteer, or as a networking member. And if you possess a special skill that will help us with our mission, please let us know about it; we can certainly put it to good use.

We hope you'll join us in our mission to enrich the lives of children with autism in our community. With your help, the possibilities are endless. To learn more about being a volunteer member, email us at info@fpf4autism.org.
